GeoSnake is built for the shift from traditional SEO to GEO, preparing businesses for a future where customers rely on AI assistants for direct answers rather than just search results.Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Backend Software Developer focusing on systems that integrate with and analyze AI models like Claude and other LLMs. The developer will design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs that collect, process, and store AI visibility data, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Day-to-day tasks include building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating with external AI and analytics services, improving query performance, and implementing monitoring and alerting for backend components. The role also involves collaborating with product and frontend teams to define data structures, support new features, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. The developer will participate in code reviews, write tests and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of the overall architecture and developer tooling.Qualifications Strong proficiency in backend programming (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, or similar) and experience building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.Experience with databases and data storage (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL systems) and familiarity with designing efficient schemas and queries.Knowledge of working with AI/LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, other model providers) and integrating external services into backend systems.Comfort with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices (e.g., Docker, CI/CD, basic monitoring and logging, deployment to major cloud platforms).Understanding of web application security fundamentals, performance optimization, and scalable architecture design.Ability to write clean, testable code and maintain technical documentation for services and data flows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate product requirements into robust backend solutions.Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear written communication and experience working in distributed teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
