*Position Summary*Our Acute Surgery Center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cardiovascular / Interventional Radiology / Electrophysiology Technologist to join our advanced procedural team. This role supports physicians during cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, radiation protection, and procedural efficiency. The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-modality technologist who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Performs diagnostic and complex cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, peripheral and structural heart to include but not limited to EP Studies, Mapping, Ablations, Pacemakers, ICDs, lead and pocket replacement/revisions, and loop insertions, Left and Right Heart Caths, Stenting, fistulagrams, and line placement.*Key Responsibilities*Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular proceduresProvide technical support for interventional radiology proceduresSupport electrophysiology studies and ablation proceduresOperate fluoroscopic and imaging equipment safely and effectivelyMaintain sterile technique and procedural fieldSuccessfully removes arterial and venous sheaths.Monitor and document patient status throughout proceduresEnsure adherence to radiation safety and ALARA principlesPrepare and maintain procedural equipment and suppliesParticipate in patient preparation and post-procedure careMaintain accurate documentation within the medical recordReviews, updates, and participates in inservice related to new equipment and technology and maintains a positive interaction with medical device vendors.*Required Qualifications*Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programCurrent ARRT certificationFlorida Radiologic Technologist licenseCurrent BLS certification (ACLS preferred)Experience in cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, or electrophysiology labsStrong knowledge of sterile technique and fluoroscopic imagingBasic EKG*Preferred Qualifications*RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certificationRCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certificationExperience in multi-specialty procedural labsAdvanced knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring systems*Skills and Competencies*Strong clinical and technical procedural skillsExcellent teamwork and communication abilitiesHigh attention to detail and patient safetyAbility to function effectively in high-acuity environmentsKnowledge of radiation safety practices*Benefits (for Full-Time Positions) *Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offRetirement plan optionsContinuing education supportProfessional certification reimbursementPay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Pet insurance* Vision insuranceWork Location: In personby Jobble
