Diesel Mechanic

Gotham Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a diesel mechanic to repair and maintain diesel engine commercial trucks. Individual must have electrical troubleshooting skills and strong computerized electrical system diagnostic capabilities. About Us Gotham Ready Mix, LLC, is one of the first concrete ready-mix startups in New York City to start with a fleet of trucks, and three batch plants within two locations, located in Brooklyn and the Bronx. As we quickly approach our fourth year of operations, we are preparing to open our third location, which is in Jamaica, Queens. Requirements: Valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferably) Knowledge working on Ready Mix Trucks (Preferably) Experts in diesel engines and heavy duty vehicles Must have own tools Must be able to read and comprehend service and repair manuals Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs such as brakes, air systems, air condition repairs etc. Understand and have knowledge in hydraulic systems Understand suspensions Basic troubleshooting Peterbilt’s Caterpillar Motor(s) Mack Computerized Electrical Systems Allison Transmission Cummins Paccar To be eligible for the $5,000 signing bonus, diesel mechanics must meet the following qualifications: Minimum five (5) years of verifiable recent and relevant experience.
