Workday Consultant / AI Platform ArchitectLocation: Southport, CTJob SummaryThe Workday Consultant / AI Platform Architect will lead the strategic design, roadmap development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This role requires deep Workday expertise, strong consulting skills, and the ability to architect AI integrations that enhance HR, Finance, and Talent workflows. The consultant will partner with business and IT leadership to identify AI use cases, drive adoption, and deliver measurable improvements across Workday modules.Roles & ResponsibilitiesSpearhead the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions within the Workday ecosystem.Build and maintain a strategic roadmap for AI adoption across Workday HCM, Finance, and Talent modules.Ensure AI initiatives align with organizational strategy, compliance requirements, and stakeholder expectations.Collaborate with Workday product teams and stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT to identify AI integration and automation opportunities.Partner with customer IT Directors to fine-tune AI implementation for specific functional areas.Work closely with Business Directors to define AI use cases that optimize Workday processes and user experience.Lead technical discussions, solution architecture reviews, and design workshops with customer teams.Conduct assessments to evaluate the applicability of AI/ML features, including Workday Illuminate, and propose implementation strategies.Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, solution proposals, design documents, and project updates.Provide project governance, status reporting, and issue/risk management.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Must-Have Qualifications8-15 years of Workday consulting experience, including functional and architectural work.Led at least two large, full lifecycle Workday implementations end-to-end.Developed AI implementation and adoption roadmaps for at least two global enterprises.Experience identifying and implementing AI/ML use cases within Workday.Strong experience collaborating with senior IT and business stakeholders.Bachelor's degree-preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4-6 years of consulting experience, ideally within a large consulting organization.Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
