Vertical Milling MachinistThe CNC Vertical Mills Machinist plays a critical role in producing high-quality, intricate parts within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires proficiency in setting up and operating advanced CNC vertical machining centers (Brother, OKK, and YCM), employing MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, and performing manual inspections to ensure precision. By leveraging strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, the Machinist will troubleshoot issues, work with diverse materialssuch as aluminum, plastic, and steeland drive continuous improvement throughout the machining process.By collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining clear communication across shifts, the CNC Vertical Mills Machinist ensures all parts meet Dahlquist Machine by Fathom's rigorous quality standards and on-time delivery goals.
