Inspector – Water Treatment Package (CRP-SEP)
Job SummaryPPI Quality & Engineering is seeking an experienced Inspector to support supplier and vendor inspection activities for a CRP-SEP Water Treatment Package project in Tustin, California. This role involves executing and witnessing a variety of testing and inspection processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on inspection experience and thrives in a detail-driven, technical environment.About The RolePerform and witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Integrated Factory Acceptance Testing (IFAT)Support and verify Cybersecurity testing proceduresConduct load testing on lifting lugs in accordance with safety and engineering standardsPerform noise and vibration testing and document resultsEnsure all inspection activities comply with applicable quality standards and client specificationsInterface with suppliers/vendors to coordinate and execute inspection activitiesPrepare accurate inspection reports and maintain proper documentationIdentify and report non-conformances and support resolution processesMaintain clear communication with internal teams and client representativesDo you have what it takes?Proven experience in supplier/vendor inspection within industrial or energy-related projectsStrong understanding of inspection and testing processes (FAT, IFAT, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and proceduresHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with water treatment systems or similar process equipmentFamiliarity with noise, vibration, and load testing methodsBackground in QA/QC or engineering disciplinesRelevant certifications in inspection or quality control (preferred but not required)Work Environment & ExpectationsOn-site role based in Tustin, CA (valid permit in USA is required)Interaction with suppliers and vendors in a technical inspection settingWhat can you expect from us in return?At PPI Quality & Engineering, you’ll join a dynamic, growing organization that values collaboration, expertise, and flexibility.
