The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and expanding simulation-based education across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, with a focus on interprofessional collaboration and statewide impact. The role is designed for a senior faculty leader with a doctoral degree in nursing, education, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in simulation-based education, including program leadership. The ideal candidate will have expertise in simulation pedagogy, debriefing methodologies, and experiential learning strategies, as well as a strong background in curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and research in the field.Applicants for the Associate Dean position at the company should hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field and have a background that qualifies for a Full or Associate Professor appointment. A current RN license or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in simulation-based education, including experience in program evaluation, accreditation processes, and research. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include certification in simulation education, experience with emerging simulation technologies, and a background in grant writing.
