Construction Project Coordinator
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of our construction projects. Your focus will be on coordinating project activities from our office and working closely with the owner and field supervisor. You will assist in managing project aspects including sub-bids, client selections, planning, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing project plans, including defining scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
Facilitate communication between architects, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, help address and resolve issues, and adjust project plans as needed.
Support financial management of projects, including budget tracking, processing sub-invoices, handling change orders, and managing purchase orders.
Prepare progress and performance reports for the project management team.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth integration of construction projects into company operations.
Participate in problem-solving and decision-making processes to effectively address project challenges.
Qualifications:
Educational background in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in Residential & Commercial Remodeling/Energy-Efficient Buildings/Home Construction/Reconstruction projects
Experience in a supporting role in construction project management or a related field.
Understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively with a detail-oriented approach.
Proficient in using project management software and tools, such as Buildertrend and Bluebeam.
Familiarity with relevant legal regulations and building codes in construction.
