The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert nursing care to a diverse population of patients, including those with cardiac, neuro, ortho, and oncology needs. Float among multiple units within the assigned travel zone as needed, maintaining flexibility and adaptability. Monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry readings, and manage care for patients on set rate drips and titratable Heparin. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC charting system. Participate in weekend and holiday rotations based on scheduling requirements.QualificationsActive RN license in good standing with the state of Kansas. At least 2 years of recent MedSurg / Telemetry experience within the last 3 years. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required from American Heart Association. Experience with neuro patients preferred; familiarity with Alaris and EPIC systems is advantageous. Strong communication and organizational skills.
