Data Entry Clerk (contract) Job DescriptionOperates a data entry system to input lists, records, or other data into electronic formats. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience in the field or a related area. An associate degree is strongly preferred due to the handling of sensitive data. Demonstrates familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Follows established instructions and guidelines to complete tasks. Works under direct supervision with limited need for independent judgment.About The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented contractor to support vendor onboarding processes. This role focuses on high-volume data entry, review, and validation of sensitive supplier information.This assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months, with a target start date of 5/11. Depending on business needs, the duration may be shorter. Due to the nature of the data involved (including business, supplier, and banking information), an associate degree is strongly preferred.ResponsibilitiesReview digital documents for completeness and accuracyValidate supplier information and supporting documentationEnter supplier banking and profile data into internal systemsFollow written procedures consistently and accuratelyManage repetitive, high-volume tasks with a focus on quality and efficiencyWork independently with minimal day-to-day oversightHandle sensitive information with discretion and professionalismRequired QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of data entry experienceAbility to achieve 15,000 keystrokes per hour (KSPH)Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistencyAbility to follow written procedures with minimal guidanceStrong organizational skills and comfort with repetitive, high-volume workHigh level of discretion when handling sensitive informationPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree strongly preferredExperience with digital document platforms, HRIS systems, or similar tools is a plusScheduleMonday through FridayApproximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)8-hour workday plus lunchMust be able to work Central Time hoursThe pay for this W-2 position ranges from $19/per hour.
