AV Project Manager

AV / Project Manager (Full-Time)Location: Hayward, CA Office & On-Site | Local Bay Area Travel Required The AV/Project Manager leads the planning and execution of audiovisual production for live events, ensuring each client’s vision is delivered on time and on budget. This role collaborates closely with Account Managers, warehouse staff, and on-site crews to manage audio, video, and basic lighting needs. Key Responsibilities · Manage AV projects from pre-production through on-site execution · Coordinate timelines, labor, logistics, and equipment using Intellievent · Review Vectorworks drawings and attend site surveys · Act as the primary on-site client contact and crew lead · Supervise crews, union labor, and contractors while ensuring safety and compliance with CA meal and rest break laws · Track project changes, documentation, timesheets, and expenses Qualifications · 5+ years of live event AV experience · Proven project management experience in a fast-paced environment · Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills · Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously and work extended hours standing/walking on-site · Valid CA driver's license, and ability to travel to jobsites locally Bonus Skills · Working knowledge of Vectorworks and Intellievent · Knowledge of Bay Area venues · Familiarity with union stagehand labor rules Compensation & Benefits · $36–$48/hour (Full-Time Non Exempt) · Health, dental, vision, and life insurance offered · PTO & Holiday Pay · 401(k) with Employer match Impact Lighting is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome diversity in the workplace.
