You will work in a dynamic environment in executing current contract scope and interfacing cross-functionally with other service teams, internal customers, Program Management, Contracts, Finance, suppliers and external customers. You will be responsible for planning and implementing support strategies that coordinate across all facets of Support Services, including the Network Operations Center, Logistics Engineering, Reliability, and across multiple Viasat locations. You will utilize your leadership ability to develop and refine product support strategies, improve processes, and work with suppliers to execute contract scope. You will utilize your logistics experience to implement depot repair strategies, conduct sparing analyses, manage supply support, and support product end-of-life activities.The day-to-dayLead for all business area sustainment activitiesManage the cross functional Aftermarket Services Integrated Product Team (IPT) Interface with suppliers to manage existing and establish alternate sources of supply, including establishment of contractual terms (SOW / PSA)Accountable for Aftermarket financial performance Develop and execute business development plans in support of financial forecastsFacilitating communication between Programs and Operations, including the introduction of new products and upgradesDevelop Product Support Plans and sustainment program strategiesManage supply support activities, including service parts logistics and spares managementManage product End of Life activitiesSupport internal and customer facing program reviews and sustainment meetingsWhat you'll needUS Citizen10+ years of experience managing sustainment support and After Market Services scope activities for DoD customersDemonstrated Repair Management, Sustainment Support, Integrated Logistics Support, or Logistics Program Management activitiesStrong leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skillsStrong Program Management and customer interface skillsExperience in organizing, developing, and leading cross-functional teamsExperience presenting / interfacing with senior-level executives on routine business situations (Program Management Reviews)Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong Microsoft Excell, Tableau, Power BI skillsExperience collaborating with customer service, product support, field service, test engineering, and reliability engineeringExperience supporting proposals, statements of work, basis of estimates, and other contracts and agreement documents.Experience with the DoD acquisition process and establishing sustainment contractsExperience establishing sustainment contracts with international customers desiredExperience working on Program of Record programs in support of Program Management Office activitiesBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degreeAbility to obtain a US Secrete Security ClearanceWhat will help you on the jobPerformance Based Logistics (PBL) experience desiredExperience with Oracle, SAP, other ERP/MRP systems, Salesforce, Tableau, or Service Now.Active DOD Security Clearance.#LI-BBS Salary range$124,000.00 - $195,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $143,000.00- $215,000.00/ annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
