The primary focus of this position will be on assembling conveyors along with corresponding accessories, testing the conveyor, and packaging the final product for parcel freight shipments.Work Schedule Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmEssential Duties and Responsibilities Performs conveyor assemblies or sub assemblies from work orders or blueprints.Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.Maintain a safe and clean environment, and perform 5S tasks as required.Inspects finished product for defects and performs quality checks.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities A team player with excellent communication skills.Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities to reflect changing needs or job demands.Attention to detailRequired Qualifications Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.1+ years of previous assembly experience.Compensation $19-22+ per hour, depending on experience.Benefits Free coffee dailyClimate controlled environment11 paid holidaysVacation and sick timeMedical, Dental, Vision insurance, effective day 1401(k)Paid parental leaveTuition assistanceDisability insuranceColumbus McKinnon is a leading worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions that move the world forward and improve lives by efficiently and ergonomically moving, lifting, positioning and securing materials.
