Senior DevSecOps & Systems Engineer

A leading technology integrator and solutions provider to government agencies and commercial clients is seeking a highly skilled individual to join their IT team. This organisation delivers innovative solutions across a wide array of domains, from national security to digital transformation, empowering critical missions with advanced engineering and technological expertise.The Role Lead the design and implementation of integrated, end-to-end systems solutions across infrastructure, platform, and application layers. Architect, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security gates and automation workflows. Develop and maintain full-stack applications, including front-end interfaces, back-end services, and APIs, applying secure coding practices. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with embedded security policy enforcement for cloud and hybrid environments. Perform systems requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from enterprise objectives to implemented capabilities. Lead projects from concept through deployment and sustainment, mentoring junior engineers and developers.What You'll Need Strong expertise in DevOps/SecDevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes). Demonstrated experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, secrets management). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks. Full-stack development proficiency, including a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue), a back-end language/framework (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Java, or .NET), and databases. Systems engineering experience, including requirements analysis, systems integration, and verification/validation.
