This position supports the Director of Operational Training by equipping team members with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to succeed, while fostering a culture of continuous learning, safety, and professional growth.About the RoleOperational Turbine Trainers are vital members of our organization, responsible for generating high-quality training content, assessing operational competencies, and administering effective training programs that empower employees to excel in their roles.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates flexibility to travel frequently as required to support training needs across operational sites.Administers operational turbine training programs for new hires and existing employees.Develops, maintains, and updates content for operational turbine training courses to ensure relevance and accuracy.Evaluates employee operational competencies and identifies skill gaps.Identifies, documents, and reports training needs, deficiencies, and operational issues.Assists employees and mentors with the completion of required training and mentoring activities.Provides ad hoc or just-in-time training as operational needs arise.Manages and maintains training equipment, including tablets, computers, and other electronic training tools.Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.QualificationsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.Must be at least 18 years of age or older.Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).Daily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance.Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.Required SkillsStrong knowledge of turbine operations, safety processes, and operational best practices.Ability to develop instructional materials and facilitate engaging training sessions.Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and employee development.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Proficient with basic computer applications and electronic training tools.Ability to evaluate competencies, document results, and provide constructive feedback.Preferred SkillsMinimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in turbine operations, wind energy operations, or a related technical field.Minimum of 5 years of prior experience delivering training, coaching, or mentoring in an operational environment preferred.Pay range and compensation packageDaily overtime required and in person, predictable attendance.Equal Opportunity StatementThe Company is committed to the cause of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants, thus abiding by all applicable state and federal laws.
