CHANDLER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTCLASSIFICATION: SUPPORT STAFFJOB TITLE: CROSSING GUARDCALENDAR: 1901FT OR 1801PT (9 MONTH)SALARY: GRADE 103 (SUPPORT HOURLY)Job Goal:Assist students safely through intersections and monitor vehicle trafficMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredFirst aid training desiredAbility to work cooperatively with parents, students, staff, and the general publicKnowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations, and rulesVision and hearing are adequate to exercise job responsibilities in a safe mannerCore Job Functions:Place traffic signs where requiredUtilize proper procedure, walking students through the crosswalkEnsure students' safety by ensuring students walk within the crosswalk linesReport violators of the 15 MPH zone, both pedestrians and vehiclesPerform related duties as requestedPerform all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directedPerform other duties assigned that support the overall objective of the positionCore Values:Excellence in all we do.
