Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field. A master’s degree in computer science is a strong preference.Years of IT leadership within financial services or insurance.Proven track record delivering large, multi-year programs with significant budgets (often tens to hundreds of millions), with high quality and on time and budget at an expert level.Deep experience with core insurance platforms (policy administration, claims, billing) and modern cloud architectures.Ability to inspire teams and bring positive energy.Strong experience of Guidewire, other COTS products and data & architectural principles.Strong governance, risk/compliance, vendor management, and stakeholder management capabilities.Strong executive presence.Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive influencing skills.Ability to build long term strategy and roadmap.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to US insurers (HIPAA, GLBA, SOC 2, state insurance regulations) and audit requirements.Strong vendor management capabilities both in product and service areas.
