*Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Driver and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of freight across various routes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for delivering goods promptly and maintaining excellent customer service throughout your routes. We are committed to supporting your professional growth with comprehensive training and a positive work environment. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other commercial trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. * Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to plan optimal delivery routes while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions. * Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly according to logistics cargo handling standards. * Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations, maintaining safety at all times. * Handle automobile transportation tasks when required, including securing vehicles for transit. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations. * Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly. * Deliver freight to customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service; communicate proactively about delivery times or delays. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with a focus on freight logistics. * Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or other specialized loads preferred. * Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and manual handling procedures for cargo loading/unloading. * Knowledge of truck loading and unloading techniques, including flatbed and tractor-trailer operations. * Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving. * Experience operating refrigerated trailers and GPS navigation systems for route planning. * Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as manual handling of freight and equipment safely. * Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance; previous delivery driver experience highly valued.
