Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager in Training located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. A high-potential candidate could expect to be placed as a General Manager in as few as 6 months due to local market expansion, a relocation opportunity within The Fix-It Group, or as a succession plan for the current GM.The General Manager in Training will work closely with the current GM and share responsibility in leading daily operations, coaching and developing team members, ensuring high standards of customer service, and managing business performance to achieve company goals. Additional responsibilities include monitoring key performance metrics, implementing company policies, managing resources effectively, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and growth. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop employeesProficiency in operational planning, resource allocation, and performance trackingStrong customer service abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiencesExperience in the residential services industry, such as HVAC, plumbing, or related fields, is a plus; big-box/multi-unit retail leadership is also a strong considerationExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred but not requiredWillingness to undergo training and development to transition into a General Manager position
