The company serves customers in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.TasksWe are seeking a qualified medical professional in the La Jolla area to support on-site research sessions by conducting participant health screenings and ensuring safety throughout physical activity protocols.Key responsibilities & duties:Conduct pre-session health screenings, including:Blood pressureHeart ratePAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) reviewEvaluate participant eligibility based on screening resultsMonitor participants during exercise sessions for safetyProvide real-time assessment of participant condition during activityRespond to adverse events (AEs) and escalate as neededDetermine if participants can proceed with modified or reduced exercise protocols based on screening results and real time assessmentMaintain accurate documentation of vitals, observations, and any incidentsRequirementsQualifications:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or equivalent clinical certificationExperience taking and interpreting vital signs (BP, HR)Ability to monitor individuals during physical activityCPR/AED certification requiredAbility to respond quickly and appropriately to medical concernsStrong judgement and decision-making skillsComfortable working in an active, fast-paced research environmentMust be available to work on-site in La JollaPreferred QualificationsExperience in sports medicine, exercise physiology, or clinical researchFamiliarity with emergency response protocolsBenefitsEmployment TermsStart Date: April 10thLocation: La Jolla, CA**Work arrangement:**100% on-siteSchedule: Monday-Friday, primarily business hoursEmployment type: Full-time at will (employed via EOR)Project Duration: ~1 month (role tied to a short-term client project; continuation not guaranteed)Additional information:LXT is an equal opportunity employer and ensures that no applicant is subject to less favorable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, color, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic, responsibilities for dependents, or physical or mental disability.
