Senior Java Full Stack Engineer
Overview:
In this role you will develop and modernize enterprise-grade applications, leveraging cloud-native tech and full-stack skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions that meet security and performance standards. You'll work on maintaining services, troubleshooting complex issues, and researching new technologies to drive enterprise growth. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to understand requirements and build solutions that meet business needs
- Maintain and enhance enterprise services and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with effective solutions
- Create detailed specifications, requirements, and estimates for projects
- Research and adopt new technologies to improve security, performance, and processes
- Support coding standards and security best practices
- Coordinate with architects and leads to ensure alignment with long-term enterprise goals
- Support after-hours calls on a rotational basis
Key requirements:
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Java Spring Boot
- Database and persistence experience (PostgreSQL, Data Lake, ADX, Databricks, ORM, query tuning)
- Cloud-based development and management (Azure, Kubernetes, Docker)REST web services, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Apache KafkaFront-end technologies (Thymeleaf, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Angular)
- Build/deployment tools (Gradle, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, GitHub Actions)
- DevOps toolchain experience (Slack, GitHub, Fluentbit, Apache NiFi, Dynatrace, Grafana)
- Linux/Unix shell scripting, Disaster RecoveryOO design proficiency
- Experience in Agile (SCRUM) and CI/CDSecurity vulnerability management
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
