Occupational Therapist
Rochester Occupational Therapy Services, PLLC is dedicated to delivering client-centered, research-based OT services. We offer services in the home and travel to community settings to provide treatment sessions wherever daily occupations may occur.
Job Description – Occupational Therapist
· The OTR/L is responsible for the planning, delivery, and execution of therapies in the home, school, or community setting for all students/clients on caseload
· Evaluate, treat and recommend occupational therapy services for pediatric and adult clients
· Travel between sites to provide services in client homes, or other designated locations
· Screen and assess individual strengths and weaknesses using formal and informal tools
· Provide individual and small group treatment
· Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and objectives
· Complete daily session notes and billing records accurately within required time frame
· Prepare written reports for annual reviews as needed and submit quarterly progress reports
· Submit goals and objectives for annual meetings
· Recommend program materials and adaptive equipment for individual use
· Recommend changes in individual’s level of services
· Discuss progress in therapy program with interdisciplinary team and parents/guardians
· Participate in virtual/in-person meetings when requested
· Provide support to families and collaborate with other disciplines as needed to address goals and objectives as indicated in each client’s Plan of Care or IEP
Required Qualifications:
· Requirements for Occupational Therapists: NYS Licensed and Registered (OTR/L)
· Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
· Occupational Therapy License
· Reliable transportation
· Candidates for this position will have: the ability to demonstrate and provide examples of continuous personal development and improvement; excellent communication skills (verbal and written); problem solving skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects
Compensation
The expected compensation rate for this position is $60 to $80 per hour of direct service provided.
