Program Manager

Title: Hardware Program Manager | ITAR | EVMSLocation: Greater Hudson Area, NH (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)Employment Type: Contract (6–9 Months)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleJoin a cross-functional team leading the execution of complex defense hardware programs from new product development through production. This role partners with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts to deliver high-performance embedded computing solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead hardware program execution across the full product lifecycle, from development through production and in-service support.Manage program scope, schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and customer commitments.Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Contracts, and Program Planning.Support RFPs, develop Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, schedules, and compliance documentation.Track and report program KPIs, milestones, risks, and corrective actions to leadership and customers.Ensure compliance with government contracting requirements and contractual obligations.QualificationsBachelor's degree with 6+ years of Program/Project Management experience in defense hardware or related industries.Experience with Government Contracts, ITAR, and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).Proven experience managing hardware product development and production programs.Experience in the Aerospace & Defense or SATCOM industry.Proficiency with Microsoft Project and program scheduling tools.Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):Estimated hourly range: $45–$48/hr (W-2).Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
