Infrastructure Design Technician

Infrastructure Design Technician is a contract position responsible for remote design and fulfillment of internal network orders, focusing on circuit layouts and documentation to support network operations. Key Responsibilities Design and redesign Layer 1 circuit layout records in the TIRKS database Collaborate with Planning and Engineering to provision network equipment and circuits Maintain and support network infrastructure records across applicable applications Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Knowledge of optical networking equipment (e.g., Ciena, Fujitsu, Alcatel/Lucent) Familiarity with telecommunications inventory systems such as TIRKS and OMNIvue Understanding of inside plant fiber optic structured wiring design and operations Experience in designing infrastructure circuits in a telecommunications network is a plus Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet customer expectations #J-18808-Ljbffr
