Sr Test Engineer

Support Test Engineering function by providing guidance and support to other test engineers. Troubleshoot test fixtures, software, and procedures.Perform analysis, diagnostics and preliminary evaluations of products; develop testing procedures and fixtures as requiredDevelop test procedures, equipment and fixturing design responsibilitiesAnalyze customer requirements and develop testing proceduresRepair and maintenance of test fixturesInstall test software, programming software and repair test PCsRepair and troubleshoot test PCsAssist Production with test needs and troubleshooting PCA down to the componentSet up and support the Engineering VLANAdhere to General Requirements of Team MembersKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAdvanced ability reading schematics and wiring diagramsIntermediate ability in schematic capture and electrical designAdvanced knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits and theoryAdvanced knowledge of mechanical systemsAdvanced knowledge using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, 4wire LCR meters etcAdvanced ability to troubleshoot down to the component level for both analog, digital, and embedded circuits/systemsAdvanced technical and documentation skillsProficient with Solid Works, AutoCAD and/or other drafting applicationsKnowledge of LAN/WAN networking technologies, including Ethernet and TCP/IPAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsAdvanced ability to troubleshoot PC hardwareSoldering skills, rework with through hole and SMT componentsAdvanced ability to build prototypes and wire systemsIntermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Ability to effectively communicate in all forms with others inside and outside the organizationAbility to negotiate and manage conflict tactfully and professionallyAbility to plan, resolve problems effectively, and establish prioritiesAbility to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality resultsAbility to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environmentAbilities listed in General Requirements for Team MembersRequired Experience & EducationBachelor's degree in related technical fieldSeven years of relevant work experience requiredMaster's degree in related technical fieldFive years of relevant work experience requiredPrevious experience with technical writingPrevious advanced experience with PC hardware, OS system, and installing and working with test softwareWhy You'll Love Working HereCompetitive pay and great benefits- including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offBe part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunitiesA supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matterMeaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the worldEqual Opportunity EmployerIntervala, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce.
