Duties Senior Structural Engineer who can work independently or lead a team of structural engineers, designers and/or a draftsperson in production of structural construction documents including drawings and specifications for a wide variety of projects from small renovations to large and complex new construction Provide construction phase services such as reviewing shop drawing and submittals, responding to RFI's and conducting site visits to observe completed work for general conformance with project requirements Provide assessments and forensic or feasibility studies for existing structures to be improved, purchased or that have been damaged Work closely with clients to develop cost effective structural systems design including providing concept options and system pros and cons for informed decision making Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines Develops efficient structural system design as well as performing calculations and coordination with other disciplines Maintains and manages budgets for projects including hours and resources Mentors Structural Designers and Junior Engineers including calculation and document reviews Develops and maintains client relationships Requirements8 to15 years of experience working at a consulting engineering firmStrong writing and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to meet deadlinesBS in Civil Engineering is requiredPE license is requiredRevit experience is a plusProject history using computer analysis software experience is essentialBenefitsBody, mind, and wallet—LaBella's benefits support a holistic approach to your health and wellness, creating the foundation for physical, mental, and financial well-being.
