Job Water Treatment Plant Manager

Water Treatment Plant ManagerLakeland and Tampa Florida LocationsResponsibilitiesUnderstand water treatment and the processes including but not limited to: blending, knowledge of chemicals, chemical properties, etc.Oversee the day-to-day activities of the plant.Monitor for cost effective and safe operations at all times.Ensure daily completion of paperwork and assist with inputting as needed.Maintain plant equipment and supplies. Order parts, replacements, and chemicals when needed.Oversee the schedules for the Lakeland and Tampa plants and ensure positions are adequately filled during vacations.Cover the lab when needed.Follow corporate safety protocol at all times.Ensure the cleanliness of the plant by regularly pumping out containments and performing daily cleaning tasks.Work closely with dispatch.Input approvals.Support and double check that assigned tasks are completed.Help track historical data.Help preparing DMR reports when needed.Qualifications4 yr degree in related field or applicable current certifications4 yrs+ experience operating water treatment plantStrong math skillsStrong communication skillsValid driver's license
