Forklift Operator

Overview Inspect and operate forklift to move materials throughout the plant on concrete, asphalt and gravel surfaces, including offloading materials from railcars. Responsibilities The following duties are typical for this role. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices. * Operate forklift (hand and foot controls) to deliver materials * Inspect forklift and its component parts * Complete inspection forms * Refuel forklift * Roll wheel sets for pickup * Set wood spacers for stacking materials * Cut and dispose of banding Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The following generally describes requirements to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period to successfully perform the assigned duties. * Ability to drive a forklift Education and Experience * Experience working outdoors around heavy machinery in a production or construction environment * Forklift driving experience If you meet these qualifications and are looking to join a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply for the Forklift Operator position with us.
