Java Technical Lead

If you are interested, please share your updated resume at anita@crowdplum.com including your expected rate and visa status.Role : Java Lead Work Location : St Louis, MO (someone who is local or ready to move)- 3 Days from officePriority : HighNote- The in-person interview is required only for the final round.Hiring mode- W2 only JD-Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.Provide technical leadership to Java development teams, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.Design scalable, resilient, and secure solutions capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, distributed services, messaging, and third-party systems.Work with architects and business teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.Drive application modernization, cloud adoption, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.Implement automated unit, integration, and performance testing while maintaining high code quality.Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployments.Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards, architecture decisions, and engineering documentation.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development, with 2+ years in a technical lead role.Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices.Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and relational databases.Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or similar platforms.Strong understanding of distributed systems, multithreading, concurrency, design patterns, and performance tuning.Experience with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.Regards,Anitaanita@crowdplum.com
