Job Description: Architect and deliver scalable, cloud-native, and SaaS-based solutions that transform next-generation BSS platforms.Lead the integration of advanced AI and machine learning technologies to automate workflows, enable hyper-personalized customer experiences, and support intelligent, data-driven decision-making.Drive initiatives to embed AI/ML models for dynamic pricing, customer segmentation, proactive service assurance, anomaly detection, and real-time product recommendations.Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and operations stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for AI/ML optimization across customer journeys and business processes.Define and execute the modernization roadmap, including legacy migration, domain-driven design, and adoption of industry best practices.Champion domain-centric, event-driven architectures with clear separation of concerns and optimized data flows.Establish and enforce architecture standards, governance frameworks, and ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, ethics, and compliance.Mentor solution architects and cross-functional teams, serving as a subject matter expert in AI/ML adoption and fostering a culture of innovation.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.8+ years of solution architecture experience, with a focus on large-scale BSS in telecommunications or similar industries.Proven expertise in architecting cloud-native, microservices, and SaaS solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into enterprise systems, with applications such as dynamic pricing, customer segmentation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and real-time recommendations.Deep understanding of BSS domains and processes (customer management, product catalog, order management, billing, revenue management).Practical experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architectures, and API management.Strong grasp of omnichannel strategies, digital transformation, and customer journey optimization.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs, eTOM, SID, or similar industry standards (preferred).TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is a plus.Top Skills:Business Support Systems for TelecommunicationsSolutions Architecture ModelingEvent Driven ArchitectureSPARX Enterprise ArchitectTMForum based standardsTOGAF (preferred)Mobility Architecture (preferred)Benefits:Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
