Plant Manager

OverviewLead a multi-shift manufacturing facility of approximately 150 employees. Responsible for overall plant performance, including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial results. Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and leadership development while ensuring customer commitments are met.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all plant operations, including production, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and logisticsEnsure achievement of production targets, on-time delivery, operational goals, and P&L objectivesMonitor and improve plant performance using KPIs and operational metricsDrive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiativesPromote a strong safety, quality, and compliance cultureLead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to improve operational performanceManage budgets, cost control, and overall plant financial performanceDevelop and mentor leadership teams, supporting workforce planning and succession planningPartner with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, procurement, and commercial operations to align manufacturing priorities and capacity planning.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experienceProgressive manufacturing leadership experience in a plant operations environmentStrong leadership, team-building, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skillExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologiesSolid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and operational performance managementExperience with ERP/MRP systems and production planningStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsMBA preferredDemonstrated success leading plant operations, safety programs, and financial performance7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
