Prototype Build Engineer

We are seeking a Prototype Build Engineer to lead and support prototype build activities across multiple programmes. This role is ideal for an early career engineer who enjoys hands on work, cross functional collaboration, and solving real time manufacturing and design challenges.ResponsibilitiesLead prototype part procurement and resolve supplier issues across multiple programmesSupport prototype design activities in collaboration with engineering teamsCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)Develop clear process sheets and work instructions for build operatorsTroubleshoot and resolve build floor issues impacting quality, design, manufacturing processes, and timingCommunicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and programme teams to ensure successful buildsRequired QualificationsBachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)Basic knowledge of vehicle build processesWorking knowledge of CATIA V5 and/or NX, and TeamcenterStrong leadership, communication, and programme management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, including creating presentations and presenting to all levels of management0 5 years of relevant engineering experiencePreferred QualificationsExposure to prototype or pre production build environmentsExperience working directly with suppliers or manufacturing teamsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
