Our drivers provide our field employees with the materials that they need to finish roofing projects. Without our drivers, we can not bid or complete roofing projects. Successful occupants of this role will be consistent and reliable. They will be good teammates and will be dedicated to doing their best work at all times.What you can expect from us:To be challenged and supported in the direction of your potentialTo be treated with respect and fairnessThe opportunity to speak your mind and be listened to.Accountability focused on output/quality of woDay to Day Responsibilities will include:Load and unload trucks.Maintain Daily Log for CDL Driver.Deliver materials to job sites.Load and unload materials between yard and job site.Transport flatbeds and dump trailers to and from jobsite(s).Help coordinate the movement of products in the warehouse/yard.Ensure shortages, damages and accidents are reported to the Supervisor immediately.Complete material transfer orders.Be accurate and careful handling products with lifts to insure safe and damage free parts.Maintain a good housekeeping standard neatness and cleanliness in areas of responsibility, enabling the warehouse- yard to maintain a safe and efficient work-place.Performs related duties as assigned by supervisionThe Ideal Candidate For This Role Is Someone Who:Reliable and consistent in their work performanceIs detail -oriented with an aptitude for doing things right the first timeSkills and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDAt least one year of construction related warehouse/yard and drivingForklift certificationCDL A LicenseSmall engine mechanical knowledge desirableThe Occupant of this Role Will Enjoy:Competitive benefits package including Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance along with company-provided basic Life Insurance and optional Life Insurance.401K plan and several other optional insurances.PTO beginning from date of hire.Participation in company ESOP program after all eligibility criteria have been met.Opportunity to receive regular bonuses and base pay increases per Compensation policy.Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift material and equipment above their head to stack in trailers, etMust be physically able to mount and dismount lifts, trucks, or tractors numerous times throughout the dayEmployment Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be eligible for employment in the United StatesMust have a valid, clean CDL licenseMust successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.Other Duties:The employee in this role will be required to make material deliveries at various hours, including deliveries during second and third shift hours, depending on the project that the materials are for.
