Aquatic Center Manager
Organized, safety-focused leaders with hands-on aquatic experience wanted to supervise staff, run programs, and ensure a safe, fun swimming environment.
What You'll Do Oversee all operations of a municipal pool, including staff supervision, program coordination, pool maintenance, and public safety. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while delivering high-quality aquatic experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and supervise 10-24 staff, assign duties, and support training
Manage daily pool operations, chemical monitoring, equipment, and inventory
Coordinate Learn to Swim programs and other aquatic activities
Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies
Maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with Board of Health standards
Supervisory Responsibilities
Direct routine supervision of aquatic staff, providing guidance and support for daily operations
What You Bring - Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED
Minimum two years of experience in an aquatic setting
Preferred Certifications
First Aid and CPR (Jeff Ellis & Associates, Inc.)
Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor preferred
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Lifeguard principles and practices
Pool equipment operation and maintenance
Chemical monitoring and safety protocols
