Supervisor, Group Home
Rose-Mary is seeking Supervisors for our community group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities. Assist the Manager in overseeing 1 or 2 group homes. Work with the Direct Support Professionals to create a positive environment for the individuals that reside in the homes.
We desire dynamic individuals who are ready to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals that provide care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities residing in these group homes. This is a set schedule with primarily 2nd shift hours - two weekends off per month.
Experience in this field and supervisory experience required. This is a full-time position with benefits and is an hourly position.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required with the ability to provide an original with an official seal. Post high school education preferred.
Demonstrated ability for self-direction in work.
1-year experience as a Direct Support Professional.
1-year experience in a supervisory role.
Computer knowledge, smartphone skills, and ability to email, type, use Microsoft Word and internet.
Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than four points, eligibility under our insurance carrier will need to be obtained after an offer has been made. Maintain an acceptable driving record adhering to all driving laws and Rose-Mary regulations pertaining to driving.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to any Rose-Mary worksite based on agency needs.
Pass the state-approved medication administration course.
Ability to work and lead a team, collaborate with co-workers, managers, and program staff via open communication in a positive and constructive manner.
