We are expanding our MEP engineering department to provide services locally and remotely to a larger market. As part of our platform, we connect a global network of designers and local referral network to clients. You will be placed in a leadership position to assist the company with the growth of the MEP engineering department and to work with other principal engineers and architect on the development of building designs
This opportunity is ideal for a professional licensed MEP engineer (both Electrical and Mechanical) who can demonstrate leadership and team management qualities..

Client Connections: Our platform connects engineers with clients, handling all marketing, administrative tasks, document automation, communications, project management, payments, invoices, contracts, and more. You'll meet clients remotely or locally to understand their needs and work with vendors on providing a statement of work. Projects may also be assigned internally. You may do the projects directly on your time.
Project Management: All project management and communications occur on our platform, ensuring project history is tracked. You are supported by a global network of experts, including drafters, designers, and engineers. This collaboration prevents burnout and provides opportunities for income growth.

Summary of what you’ll do:
Designing MEP systems - MEP Engineers design the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a building, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, power, water supply, and drainage.
Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations - MEP Engineers must be familiar with local building codes and regulations to ensure that the design and installation of MEP systems comply with them.
Collaborating with architects and contractors - MEP Engineers work closely with architects and contractors to ensure that the design and installation of MEP systems meet the needs of the building and its occupants.
Managing project timelines and budgets - MEP Engineers are responsible for managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Conducting site visits and inspections - MEP Engineers visit construction sites before, during and after construction to inspect the project for design purposes and to monitor the progress of the project to ensure that the installation of MEP systems meets the design specifications.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues - MEP Engineers are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with MEP systems, ensuring that they function correctly and efficiently.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing Engineering or related field
Professional Mechanical and Electrical Engineering License
Familiarity with building codes and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in designing MEP systems for buildings and facilities
Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software
