Dental Lab General Manager: P&L, Ops & Team Leadership

DescriptionThe General Manager is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of our 2 Baltimore area dental laboratories. This role leads day-to-day operations, assist leaders with P&L performance, and drives continuous improvement while building a high-performing, engaged team.This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing or production environment, is comfortable with data and financial accountability, and values both results and culture.Operations & Financial ManagementPartner with Lab President to manage the lab's P&L and EBITDA performanceParticipate in daily financial and performance calls with corporate leadershipMonitor labor, expenses, productivity, and on-time delivery and backup payroll if neededReview operational and financial reports; drive corrective actionsLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop employees, including frontline leadersEnsure attendance, performance, and policy complianceConduct coaching, performance feedback, and corrective actionsBuild a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvementQuality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure consistent quality standards and service-level commitmentsEnforce SOPs, safety programs, and company policiesEnsure compliance with OSHA and state workplace safety lawsMaintain building security and customer compliance requirementsProcess Improvement & Customer FocusIdentify and implement operational improvementsPartner with internal teams and customers to resolve issuesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the labRequirementsBachelor's degree5+ years of leadership experienceProven P&L management experienceManufacturing or production environment experienceStrong operational, financial, and analytical skillsHigh integrity, accountability, and professionalismPreferredDental lab, medical device, or healthcare manufacturing experienceMulti-shift or complex operations leadershipLean /Continuous Improvement experienceSkills & CompetenciesStrong communication and leadership skillsData-driven decision makingOrganization and time managementAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentComfort leveraging technology and reporting toolsJ-18808-Ljbffr
