Substance Use Disorder Paraprofessional Momentum Center, LLC Substance Use Disorder Residential Treatment ProgramThe Substance Use Disorder Paraprofessional position is a direct care employee.Responsibilities for position are as follows but not limited to:Monitor the daily behavioral management program in relation to program policies and proceduresEnsure and monitor client participation within the program expectations while managing day-to-day client interactionsAdminister urinalysis and breathalyzersGeneral housekeepingHandles multiple prioritiesIndependent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the positionManages emotions and can make decision under pressureManages stress appropriatelyWorks alone effectivelyWorks effectively near others and/or in a distracting environmentWorks effectively with others /teamworkAble to solve problems but also able and willing to seek assistance when necessaryMust be a team player willing to show flexibility and is self-motivatedMandated reporterDemonstrate effective written and verbal communication skillsFlexible to changing situationsAbility to listen, analyze and record informationEstablish rapport and impart caring and empathy while remaining objective and professional in relationshipSensitivity to client needsAbility to work with all cultures, use culturally competentMust-haves:Cleared Background Study through MN DHSNice-to-haves:Microsoft 365 ExperienceFirst Aid/CPR CertificationThe Substance Use Disorder Paraprofessional position is an integral position due to the amount of client interaction.Schedule:8 hour shiftEvening shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftOvernight shiftWeekends as needed
