Technical Operations Engineer - Remote (US Based)

Responsibilities (What youll do)Own infrastructure across all of our environments from production to devBuild a cloud-agnostic Infrastructure-As-Code approach structure as we expandFacilitate and carry out deployments across all of our environmentsContribute to the infrastructure architecture and best practices for the applications we deployWrite software tools and systems to automate, explore and report on our infrastructureAutomate collection and analysis of metrics from distributed systems to assist in performance tuning and fault findingDesign and implement foundational infrastructure components used by every engineering team (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, etc)Provision accounts and equipmentCompose and maintain detailed technical specifications and diagramsPerform root-cause analyses of under-performing infrastructureDive into code and logs with engineers as technical challenges ariseDevelop proofs of concepts as neededKeep current with engineering best practices, design principles, technology, security, and compliance in order to apply that knowledge to all of the responsibilities aboveRequirements (What were looking for)Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar engineering major.2+ years of experience as a Technical Operations Engineer or in a similar technical operations role (e.g. DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, SysAdmin, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer)High proficiency engineering with Infrastructure-as-Code principlesExperience engineering infrastructure for a SaaS product/platformExperience engineering cloud-based infrastructureExperience engineering infrastructure using message/event queuesExperience engineering infrastructure using containersExperience engineering with Terraform and AnsibleExperience with multiple frameworks, databases, services, and toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working as a member of a highly-collaborative engineering teamExperience communicating directly with clientsUS citizenship or authorization to work in the USLocated in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, [Eastern] PennsylvaniaBonus PointsStrong foundation in Information SecurityHealthTech experienceMaster of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar engineering majorExperience engineering infrastructure in AWS and/or AzureExperience with agile/scrum or kanban process methodologyWorking proficiency of Spanish or Ukrainian language skills recblid rxkzrtbu4nhdbi6wjzbvcq2cfv92qi
