Join us in delivering memorable hospitality experiences and become a valued member of our team at Embassy Suites Berkeley Heights!Beverage ManagerWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Beverage Manager to lead our beverage program and uphold our commitment to excellence.As the Beverage Manager at Grain and Cane, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our beverage operations. You will play a pivotal role in curating an exceptional beverage menu, managing inventory, leading a team of bartenders and servers, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with a deep understanding of beverage trends, who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the potential to shape our beverage program's future.Key Responsibilities:Lead, train, and inspire the bar team to deliver outstanding guest experiencesDesign and update seasonal craft cocktail menus, wine lists, and spirits offeringsOversee daily bar operations, including ordering, inventory management, and cleanlinessEnsure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulationsMonitor beverage costs and implement strategies to control spending and wasteBuild relationships with distributors and negotiate favorable pricing and partnershipsCollaborate with marketing and events teams to develop bar promotions and experiencesHandle guest concerns professionally and promptlyQualifications:3+ years of experience in a beverage management or head bartender role, preferably in a high-end or craft cocktail environmentExtensive knowledge of wines, spirits, beer, and mixologyStrong leadership and communication skillsProven ability to manage costs, inventory, and staff effectivelyPassion for hospitality and a guest-first mentalityCertification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) preferredAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBenefits:Davidson Hospitality Group is an award-winning, full-service hospitality management company overseeing hotels, restaurants, dining and entertainment venues across the US.
