District Sales ManagersAmerican Weldquip, Inc., a manufacturer of MIG welding torches, consumables and robotic peripherals, is expanding and looking for District Sales Managers in the following regions.Mid-Atlantic States – Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Eastern PA, Eastern NYTexas (Eastern), Louisiana, Arkansas, OklahomaThe ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales and business activities in the assigned territory. The DSM will be responsible for maximizing sales growth by supporting our current distribution and end user base while focusing on new growth opportunities.FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIESSubmit yearly territory business plan detailing territorial distribution strategy, sales forecasts, identify target accounts and implementation strategies to increase the market share of American Weldquip products.Develop distributor partner business plan for new end user target opportunities.Yearly review with distributor partners/sales management and develop a mutual action plan to achieve targeted sales levels.Schedule daily appointments with distributors, end users and prospective clients.Provide sales and technical support to distributor partners.Provide end user training and after sale supportPrepare quotations and negotiate contracts.Conduct distributor training programs for inside and outside distributor personal on American Weldquip products.Provide financially beneficial solutions to end- users through presentations/demonstrations to all levels of management including senior management, finance, engineering, plant maintenance and purchasing.Develop and maintain long term relationships with distributors and key end user accounts.Update daily Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system with contact information, call reporting and future /ongoing projects.QUALIFICATIONSApplicant must have a strong technical understanding of all welding processes and applications.3+ years industrial sales and technical experience in the welding industry. Robotic experience a plus.Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.Must have good time management skills and be a self-starter.Strong analytic, communication, presentation and problem solving skills.Possesses long-term and short-term planning skillsMust have previous experience calling on with distributors and end-users.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.70% overnight travel required
