We are partnering with a wonderful school district in Washington County, RI to hire a dedicatedSpeech-Language Pathologistfor the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. In this role, you'll provide play-based, developmentally appropriate speech and language services to early childhood-aged students. You'll collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their full potential academically and socially through individualized interventions and support.Position Details: Location: Washington County, RI Schedule: 5 days per week, full-time hours Grade Level: Early Childhood, ages 3-5 Start Date: January 2026 End Date: June 2026Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool and early childhood students. Support development of expressive and receptive language, articulation, and early social communication skills. Conduct speech and language evaluations using developmentally appropriate assessment tools. Develop, implement, and update IEPs aligned with early childhood goals. Monitor student progress and complete required documentation in compliance with special education guidelines. Collaborate with teachers, early childhood support staff, and families to support consistent communication development across settings.Qualifications: Valid SLP license and Department of Education certification in the state of Rhode Island. Previous school-based experience, particularly with early childhood-aged students, preferred but not required.
