We manufacture and supply precision machined and rebuilt products to a variety of customers who consider ESP to be one of the top suppliers in the industry.Job Description & Requirements:The CNC Setup Machinist is primarily responsible for job setup/prove-out/production and verification on Haas CNC Lathe & Milling equipment. Programming experience is a plus. Additional responsibilities may include MasterCam programming. This role is crucial in the continued growth of the company and its overall success.Key Responsibilities & DutiesMulti-axis machine tool setup (tools, set part zero, offsets, holding devices) and prove program at machineManagement of machine tool setup information and machine tool setupsTroubleshoot and resolve program problems with programmersSimplification and economy of tool lists for increased efficiencyRead and review technical drawings for conversion into machine tool programmingCreate top quality Mastercam programs with the determination of correct sequencing, cutting paths, tooling, speeds, and feeds maximizing efficiency, product quality and safetyReview and maintenance of existing programs for continuous improvementMaintains a professional and personable relationship with all employees, customers and vendors being responsive to their needs and the needs of the companyMeasure/inspect parts to determine accuracy, using height gage, calipers, micrometers, CMM, or other measuring instruments to ensure conformity throughout the manufacturing processMonitor and adjust or replace tooling when necessaryDocument actions taken on manufacturing ordersAdhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and code of ethical conductAny and all other duties assigned by the supervisorRequirementsUS CitizenHigh school diploma or equivalent5 years of Haas CNC Mill & Lathe experience required.Operating on Live Tooling (Y-Axis) Lathes required.Programming Live Tooling (Y-Axis) preferred.Programming with Mastercam not required but a plus.Expertise with geometrical dimensioning and tolerancingExperience in machining and understanding the physical characteristics of differing materials, such as but not limited to, Stainless Steels (13-8 MO, 17-4 PH, 300/400 Series), Inconel, Titanium, Aluminums (7000, 6000, 2000 Series), Coppers, Brass, Plastics and Non-Metal related materials are necessary.Employment OfferEmployment offer is contingent upon completion of a satisfactory background checkAdditional RequirementsNeed to be available for early/late days if the production schedule requiresExcellent written and oral communication skillsAble to work independently and meet tight deadlinesAble to work with various departments and interact with diverse personalitiesComfortable wearing proper PPE for the duration of the workdayStrong mathematical aptitude and computer skillsFamiliar with shop safetyAttention to detailTeam oriented with good interpersonal skillsPositive attitudeQualificationsPreference given to candidates that have in-depth experience/knowledge on Haas Mill and Lathe machinesPreference given to candidates with programming experience in MasterCam.BenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceDisability401(k)401(k) matchingVacationPaid time offReferral programCompany Bonus planPhysical Demands; Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
