Lead Pricing Analyst

This is NOT a data analyst, financial analyst, or business analyst role.HumCap's client is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Pricing AnalystLeader to support financial performance and competitive positioning. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, solid business acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. The Finance & Pricing Analyst will play a key role in analyzing market dynamics, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring alignment between purchasing and pricing.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Analyze product movement, customer purchasing patterns, and vendor cost increasesDevelop and implement pricing policies aligned with business objectivesPartner with the Pricing Manager and Regional Managers to establish pricing strategies by region, customer type, and customer sizeMaintain accurate pricing and cost filesCollect and manage market pricing intelligence to support competitive positioningPrepare competitive price comparisons and perform detailed analysisMonitor pricing trends and identify opportunities for improvementEnsure alignment between purchasing and pricing, including timely updates when vendor costs changeManage special pricing agreements with key customersDevelop a strong understanding of products and services to support informed pricing decisionsQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field5+ years of experience in pricing administrationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Profit21 (preferred)What's OfferedOffers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and additional benefits.
