This position is responsible for creating and formatting visual content, supporting proposal development, supporting internal communications, executing social media strategies, and helping build a well-organized content library. Responsible for capturing and producing engaging visual content that showcases projects, people, and company culture.Working closely with marketing leadership, preconstruction, operations, and human resources teams, the Marketing Coordinator supports consistent and professional messaging that is aligned with company strategy.This role requires regular travel to local job sites throughout San Luis Obispo County, with occasional travel to projects in San Diego and infrequent travel to Santa Barbara County. Comfort working on active construction sites and adherence to all PPE and safety guidelines is required.Job Duties: Content Creation Capture jobsite content, including photos and videos of active construction projects, in collaboration with project teamsEdit and produce short-form video content for digital platforms, with occasional support on more polished marketing piecesEnsure all content aligns with brand standards, messaging, and overall direction from leadershipOrganize and maintain a library of photos, videos, and visual assets for ongoing marketing and proposal useSupport the development and updating of project case studies and internal content resourcesIdentify opportunities to capture meaningful and high-impact content in the fieldSocial Media Management & ExecutionCollaborate with marketing leadership to develop and maintain a social media content calendarExecute posts across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Google, and others, as neededWrite captions and format posts to align with brand voice and messagingMonitor engagement and support ongoing improvements to content performanceEnsure consistency in messaging, visuals, and posting cadence across all platformsTrack basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, etc.) and use insights to inform future contentContribute ideas for content, campaigns, and improvementsProposal & Preconstruction SupportFormat proposal graphics and visual elementsAssist in proposal layout and post-proposal interview preparationMaintain organized libraries of project photos, graphics, templates, and resumesEvent & Community SupportAssist in preparing materials for networking and industry eventsOccasionally attend events to capture photos, videos, or assist with logisticsDesign and organize branded goods, sponsorships, booths, and other event activities as neededSupport internal communications, including company updates, project highlights, and culture-focused contentSystems & OrganizationMaintain organized digital files and content librariesAssist in standardizing templates and maintaining accessibility for team useRequirementsProfessional Skills: 2-3 years of experience in content creation or marketing, supporting brand or business-facing initiativesDemonstrated experience creating content for brands, including graphic design, photography, and video Proficiency in design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CapCut, or similar)Experience editing photos and producing video content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok)Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for business use, including content formatting, caption writing, and posting cadenceExperience contributing to or managing a social media content calendarAbility to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and content workflows in a fast-paced environmentThis role requires occasional travel to job sites throughout San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Diego counties.
