We are seeking a motivated Market Research & Appointment Setting Specialist to support our business development efforts. This role focuses on identifying target accounts, researching decision-makers, conducting outbound calls, and setting qualified meetings for our sales and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with executives, understands B2B services, and can translate research insights into meaningful sales conversations. Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research Research target industries, companies, and accounts based on defined Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) Identify key stakeholders (IT leaders, Operations, Finance, Analytics, Engineering) Gather insights on company size, technology stack, pain points, and current initiatives Maintain and update prospect data in CRM or tracking tools Outbound Calling & Outreach Conduct outbound calls to prospects to introduce services and assess interest Qualify prospects using defined criteria (need, timing, authority) Handle objections professionally and keep conversations focused and value-driven Follow call scripts while adapting messaging based on the prospect’s role and industry Appointment Setting Schedule qualified meetings with sales leaders or executives Confirm meeting details and ensure proper handoff with notes and research summary Follow up with prospects via phone and email to improve show-up rates Reporting & Coordination Track outreach activity, call outcomes, and meeting metrics Provide feedback on messaging effectiveness and market trends Collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership teams Required Skills & Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in B2B market research, inside sales, or appointment setting Strong phone presence and clear, professional communication skills Ability to research companies and decision-makers independently Experience speaking with managers, directors, or executives Organized, disciplined, and comfortable with outreach targets Basic understanding of B2B services (IT, analytics, SaaS, consulting preferred) Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar) is a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience in IT services, data & analytics, software, or consulting Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar tools Experience calling small to mid-sized businesses (SMB / Mid-market) Ability to work across US time zones Success Metrics Number of qualified appointments set per week/month Appointment show-up rate Quality of research and meeting notes Conversion of meetings to sales opportunities Why Join Us Clear goals and structured outreach process Direct impact on revenue growth Opportunity to grow into sales, account management, or business development roles Flexible work environment with performance-based incentives Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Work Location: In person
