We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our growing warehouse team.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of hands-on warehouse work, furniture handling, receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and basic computer/data entry tasks in a fast-paced but team-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesReceive and unload incoming furniture shipmentsInspect incoming items for visible damages or missing piecesLabel and organize incoming inventory in designated warehouse locationsAssist with inventory updates and basic data entryPull and stage furniture for upcoming deliveries and customer pickupsSafely move furniture using pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, or other warehouse equipmentAssist with warehouse organization and cleanlinessHelp maintain accurate inventory and warehouse locationsAssist customers picking up items from the warehouseWork closely with warehouse team members to keep operations running smoothlyFollow warehouse safety procedures and proper furniture handling techniquesQualifications1+ years of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferredForklift or order picker experience preferredComfortable using computers for basic inventory updates and data entryStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentPositive attitude and team-player mentalityReliable transportation and strong work ethicExperience handling furniture or large, fragile items is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, move, push, or carry furniture and inventory throughout the workdayAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reachingComfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperaturesScheduleFull-time position (30-40 hrs weekly)MondayFridayDay shift hoursNo weekends requiredAdditional overtime opportunities may occasionally be availablePay & Benefits$17$19 per hour depending on experienceWeekly payPaid major holidays after introductory periodPTO available after 1 yearDental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability & Critical Illness insurance available for full-time employeesAbout The Delivery SourceThe Delivery Source specializes in white-glove receiving, warehousing, delivery, and installation of high-end furniture and furnishings.
