Our ALL IN culture includes a focus on Safety, Wellness, Learning, Diversity and Inclusion, and giving back to our Communities.ADB is seeking a motivated and passionate Intern to support the Safety department in day-to-day functions of the department. During the internship the goal is to build upon your educational knowledge and develop the skills and experience needed to be successful in all aspects of safety processes. The ideal candidate will have a GPA of 3.0 or higher with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform site safety assessments and cross training visits with the Safety ManagersPerform coaching sessions with the Safety Manager and various A-team membersPerform Good catches alongside the construction crewsPrepare Weekly Safety Meeting agendas and presentationsPresent at at least 1 weekly safety meeting for the Central Wireless and Wireline divisionPartner with the safety team to conduct PPE inventory and trackingPerform other position duties when requested by leadershipSUCCESS FACTORS:A strong belief in ZERO- Being Safe 100% of the time is the expectationAlignment with company mission, vision, and valuesA high level of customer centricityStrong work ethic with an ALL-IN attitudeStrong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team membersAbility to perform in a fast paced/high volumeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA high level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skillsAbility to be organized, problem solve, and be solution orientedSelf-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goalsLeadership skills- ability to lead and motivate a team to meet project goalsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)WORK ENVIRONMENT:Corporate headquarters is located at: 18777 US Highway 66 Pacific, MOMust be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbingMay be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsiteWhen working on site, will be required to wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed bootsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:Actively enrolled in College Courses3.0 or higher GPA requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredThis position pay $16 an hour.ADB Companies, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
