This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power next-generation AI training platforms. Your work will directly contribute to improving how AI models learn, reason, and perform across domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering. The position offers the chance to collaborate with a global network of domain experts and AI researchers while building reliable, high-performance infrastructure. No prior AI experience is required; domain expertise in software development is the key qualification.Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs to meet demanding performance requirements.• Translate business and technical requirements into robust backend solutions through cross-functional collaboration.• Optimize backend systems for reliability, security, and efficiency to ensure seamless user experiences.• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code in accordance with engineering best practices.• Participate actively in code reviews, mentoring sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to elevate team capabilities.• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production backend issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.Required Skills & Qualifications:• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.• Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures.• Experience with database systems including SQL and NoSQL, with strong performance optimization skills.• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.• Ability to write secure, maintainable code and follow industry-standard security practices.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed, global team environment.More About the Opportunity:This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge AI platform that connects domain experts with the development of frontier models.
