Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join a busy, well-established community General Surgery practice serving the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly reputable, collegial group with deep roots in the local community-while enjoying the stability, resources, and national recognition of one of the country's leading healthcare systems.Highlights of this opportunityJoin 3 general and minimally invasive surgeonsAcute care surgery model with day and night PA in house support - one week of hospital only coverage (1:4)Office weeks include one day in the OR (block time is immediate), one admin day, and 3 8-hour clinic daysSeasoned NP in the office to see post op patientsProcedure room in the office for minor proceduresBreast, colorectal, and bread and butter general surgery case mix; no vascular surgery, no robotCollaborative hospitalist team for admission of non-op patientsAt least 2 years' experience as a general surgeon required.
